A preview of the next municipal equation. How can we help these communities become much more intentional about inclusion as they build their innovation economies up? And how can they learn from one another in that process of inclusive innovation.
So maybe you've been hearing the phrase inclusive innovation a little bit more lately, but don't quite know what it is or what to do with it. To answer that, we turn to Christopher Gergen of Forward Cities. That's a national collaborative working with rebounding communities in the way of inclusive innovation.
I believe that the future of our economy and our communities are based upon our ability to innovate. That innovation typically typically happens in very place based ways. In order for that to truly be sustainable and long term impactful, it has to be inclusive.
And in order for it to be as effective as possible, it should be as connected as possible. You'll remember Christopher Gergen from episode three about what cities can do specifically to spur innovation locally. Just like last time, we'll have a lot of takeaways for municipal officials, elected officials, business leaders, community organizers, everyday residents about fostering innovation in your city.
